ZnSe (Zinc Selenide) Window
ZnSe windows are made from optical grade Zinc Selenide. Zinc Selenide has broader transmission than silicon and germanium, from visible to infrared 0.5 – 20μm. ZnSe windows can be used for high power CO2 laser optics at 10.6μm, as well as a protective optical window in thermal imaging device.
